AAI Engineering, formerly known as Afghan Associates, Inc., was founded in 1994 by Hamid R. Afghan. The primary emphasis of the newly established company was to provide structural engineering services of the highest quality. In 2004, Richard J. Amodeo, founder of Structural Concepts, LLC merged with AAI and Craig Harris became the director of the civil engineering department. With dedication to service, flexibility and technical expertise, the company today provides a wide array of consulting services in both structural and civil engineering disciplines and has engineers registered in many states. AAI’s clientele includes architects, developers, building owners, public agencies, building product manufacturers and contractors.
