Founded in
1964, the World Forestry Center is a nonprofit
educational institution that highlights the
forests of the Pacific Northwest. The World
Forestry Institute and the Discovery Museum,
as well as the Train Pavilion, are located
in the Center. AAI Engineering has been involved
in the remodel and addition of several portions
of the Center over the years. The museum
reopened on June 30, 2005 after an extensive
building and exhibits renovation. The latest
structural remodel included new entries and
a new 20 foot high canopy walk through the
tree tops.
