The Upper Falls Condominium Project is located across the river from downtown Spokane, Washington. The site overlooks the Spokane River and has sweeping views of Riverfront Park and the hills beyond. The project consists of a garage level and 6 levels of condominiums, comprising a total structural area of approximately 148,000 square feet.  The structural floor system is two-way post-tensioned flat plate slabs, and special reinforced concrete shearwalls provide the lateral support for the structure.  The foundation of the structure consists of spread footing bearing over corrugated metal pipe caissons over a basalt rock subgrade.
