Union High School features five separate two story buildings including two structures dedicated entirely to classroom space, a large auditorium, a gymnasium/recreational complex and a spacious building that accommodates the dining / kitchen facilities, library and additional classroom space. Each building is constructed with similar systems: composite steel beams, steel columns, custom steel roof joists and steel braced frames on a conventional shallow foundation.
