A former Midas auto parts store at the corner of Northwest 10th and Couch has become Portland’s newest Noodles & Company, a popular Colorado based franchise. Construction began on the space in mid-July. The restaurant had its grand opening Nov. 8. AAI Engineering provided tenant improvement and construction support to MCG and the general contractor. The work included analysis and design for the entry infill, (2) new rooftop HVAC units, an HVAC screenwall, penetrations in the concrete slab, and ceiling cloud suspensions/bracing systems.
