The Leatherman Tool Group was founded in 1983 by Timothy S. Leatherman to manufacture hand tools. In 1996, AAI Engineering provided the structural engineering design for the first phase of the manufacturing facility. The building has since undergone two expansions in which AAI Engineering has continued to provide various structural design services for the remodels/additions.
