
The Laurelwood
Condominium project in Beaverton, Oregon,
consists of a garage level, a retail level
and two towers each of 6 levels of condominiums,
comprising a total structural area of approximately
230,000 square feet. The structural
floor system is two-way post-tensioned flat
plate slabs, and special reinforced concrete
shearwalls provide the lateral support for
the structure. The foundation of the
structure consists of spread footing bearing
over stone columns installed in the subgrade.
