The Hazel Dell Elementary School is a two story complex with a gymnasium and administrative offices. This multi-functional facility is constructed with steel open-web joists, metal deck with concrete topping and reinforced concrete masonry shear walls. Careful coordination during the design phase with the mechanical, electrical and acoustical consultants was a key component for the success of this project.
