Fruit Valley is a 26,000 square foot facility that accommodates students, a Head Start and Early Head Start Facility, a childcare center, and a family resources center where adult learning programs can take place. Fruit Valley Community Learning Center is one of eight schools in the nation profiled in the 2005 Honor Society of "Schools as Centers of Community: A National Search for Excellence." The structural system is composed of exposed timber framing and wood shear walls.
