Cascade Steel, an electric arc furnace steel manufacturing plant, sits on an 80-plus acre mini-mill. Cascade’s melt shop includes a 108+ ton capacity electric arc furnace and a five-strand continuous billet caster. AAI Engineering provided the structural engineering design services for the approximately 1400 ft long Rod Mill, the adjacent Machine Control Center and (2) Storage Warehouses. The scope of work also included anchorage design for the installation of several pieces of heavy manufacturing equipment.
