AAI Engineering provided construction engineering services to the general contractor for the new Interactive Learning Center located on the Boise State Campus. AAI’s primary scope was to ensure adequate strength and stability during the construction of the 5-level post-tensioned concrete structure. Work included analysis of the structural member’s early cure strength, the design of steel shoring posts, various footings, reshoring through-out to coordinate with the executed construction sequencing, and temporary bracing of the concrete shear walls.
